GUN CARRIAGE FACTORY, JABALPUR invites ON-LINE applications from the eligible Citizens of India for filling up the following vacancies in Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted and in Group ‘C’ Non-Industrial Establishment (NIE) & Industrial Establishment (IE). 
 
The candidates, who are fulfilling the requisite qualifications/specifications for the advertised posts, may apply ON-LINE through Gun Carriage Factory’s website www.ofbgcf.nic.in.

Posts: 
 
1. Trained Graduate Teacher (Science)
No. of post: 01, Visually Impaired can apply
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 + Grade Pay: Rs. 4600/-
Age: 18-30 years
Essential Qualification: (a) Graduation in required subject (i.e. Science) and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Graduation in required subject (i.e. Science) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
Graduation in required subject (i.e. Science) with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Science subjects with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Science subjects with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
 
Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/PH.
AND
(b) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Govt. in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
 
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (Eng. Lang.)
No. of post: 01, Visually Impaired can apply
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 +Grade Pay: Rs. 4600/-
Age: 18-30 years
Essential qualification: (a) Graduation in required subject (i.e. Eng. Lang.) and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Graduation in required subject (i.e. Eng. Lang.) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
Graduation in required subject (i.e. Eng. Lang.) with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with English as one of the major subject with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Age: 18-30 years
Essential qualification: (a) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
AND
(b) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Govt. in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
 
4. Stenographer
No. of post: 01, Visually Impaired can apply
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2400
Age: 18-27 years
Essential qualification: (i) 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Skill Test Norms ‘only on computers’. Dictation: 10 minutes at the rate of 80 (eighty) words per minutes in Stenography (English or Hindi). 
 
Transcription: 50 minutes (English) 65 minutes (Hindi).
 
5. Telephone Operator - II
No. of post: 01, Visually Impaired can apply.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + 1900 Grade Pay
Age: 18-27 years
Essential qualification: (i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Proficiency in handling of PBX Board and Electronics Exchanges
 
6. Lower Division Clerk
No. of posts: 36, out of which 04 for Visually Impaired
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: 1900/-
Age: 18-27 years
Essential qualification: (i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Skill Test Norms ‘Only on Computers’.
A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer
 
The Trained Graduate Teacher (Science) and Teacher (Primary) should have the ability to teach & explain in HINDI language. 
 
Age Relaxation: Upto 10 years for Physically Handicapped 
No fee for PH candidates.
 
Visually handicapped (VH) candidates with visual disabilities of forty percent or above will have the facility to opt for Question Paper in Braille and can avail the assistance of a Scribe/Reader in the Written Examination, subject to such requests being made at the time of applying for the examination.
 
The Visually handicapped (VH) candidate will have the discretion of opting for his own Scribe/Reader or request the Examination Body for the same at the time of applying for the examination. In case of option of factory’s Scribe/Reader, the candidate will be allowed to meet the Scribe/Reader a day before the examination, if requested, to check and verify the suitability of Scribe/Reader. After acceptance and finalization of the factory’s Scribe/Reader by the candidate, no request for change of Scribe/Reader will be accepted except in exceptional circumstances.
 
In case, the visually handicapped (VH) candidate fails to report for verification of the Scribe/Reader a day before examination, the Scribe/Reader allotted by the factory will be final and shall be acceptable to the candidate.
 
If a Visually handicapped (VH) Candidate opts to bring his/her own Scribe/Reader but fails to bring his/her Scribe/Reader will not be provided any Scribe/Reader at the Examination Hall. Therefore, 
the candidate must ensure this point before exercising the option regarding Scribe. 
 
Persons with visual disability of less than forty percent will not be considered as visually handicapped persons. One eyed candidates and partially blind candidates who are able to read with or without 
magnifying glass will be allowed to use the Magnifying Glass in the Examination Hall and will not be entitled to Question Paper in Braille or a Scribe/Reader. Such candidates will have to bring their own 
Magnifying Glass to the Examination Hall.
Eligible applicants are required to apply On-line only. The “On-line Application Form” will be available on Gun Carriage Factory’s website www.ofbgcf.nic.in through the link Recruitment. Application received through any other mode will not be accepted under any condition 
 
The candidate should have scanned images of their latest passport size colour photograph (35 to 50 KB size) as well as their signature (20 to 30 KB size) and essential documents/certificates (75 to 100 KB size) in jpg format for uploading in the Application Form.
