Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that is primarily used to store and make sense of large chunks of data. From sorting the data to performing basic operations, to performing higher-level operations — there’s a lot that Excel offers to its users. With a working knowledge of MS Excel, you’ll be able to organize and manipulate a large amount of data which can be otherwise time-consuming, mundane and difficult to do. 
Excel has, over the years, grown to become the skill that manifolds increase one’s chances of securing a job. If you’re aiming to work in the business sector, you’ll definitely need to ace Excel in order to manage finances, human resources, and inventory. 
At prerana educational center, the new online batch of ‘Fundamentals of MS Excel for person with vision impairment’ will commence on 1st march 2024. Candidates who have knowledge in basic computers can join with these 20 days online training program. This is an initiative from prerana educational center a project of North Bengal Council for the disabled with the group effort of Enable India team towards giving quality computer training for person with vision impairment.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Persons with Vision Impairment, age 15 and above.
• Should have Laptop/Desktop with good internet connectivity.
• Should have knowledge in basic computers and MS Word.
• Should clear the entrance assessment test.
Not: after the completion of the fundamental workshop, if you are eligible, you will be selected for our advance Excel workshop.
The Training details are as follows:
Training Start Date: 01 march 2024.
Training End Date: 30th march 2024.
Time: 6:00 pm- 8:00pm (Monday to Saturday)
Mode of Training: Online
Participants will gain the following:
Excel Basics:
• Will learn to navigate, read & understand the content in Excel workbook.
• Create a new workbook and enter your data
• Editing, inserting, deleting and spell check.
• Sort and Filter, your data
• Excel formatting such as column width, wrap text, alignment and borders.
• Create a simple formula
• Apply a number format
