UJJWALA 2018- ANNUAL FESTIVAL
NAB INDIA- CENTRE FOR BLIND WOMEN & DISABILITY STUDIES
NAB India Centre, Hauz Khas, New Delhi welcomes all visually impaired boys and girls/ men and women (above 16 yrs of age) to come and enjoy
the fun events of UJJWALA 2018,  the annual festival.

Last day to send the entries is 24th October 2018. NAB Centre will have the right for closing entries for particular events any time it deems fit.

Details

Day: 28th October2018, Sunday- Cultural and Games Day 

Events

Chess: Knock out basis; please bring your own chess boards. Please reach venue by 8.45 am
-Limited number of entries on first come first serve basis.

Theatre Extempore: No solo performances allowed. Minimum 2 or maximum 6 persons can form a group. Final groups shall be chosen after auditions on the basis of content. Themes should be comic only, auditions will start at 08.45

Singing (Audition based): solo style, -Limited number of entries on first come first serve basis, Participants coming last minute shall be taken in waiting list only Auditions will start at 9.45 am, so please be there in time, Final participants shall be chosen after auditions.
-Please send your entries in one of the two categories- With Track or without track.

Instrumental Music: No entries allowed for tabla, harmonium and Casio.
Please bring your own instrument.

Dance: Please send your entries in one of the two categories- Low Vision or Totally Blind,  Please bring your own costume and sound track in a pen drive or CD, Sound -Tracks to be submitted latest by 11.00 AM on 28th October2018.

Radio Tarka: Act as like a RJ (Radio Jockey), -Solo/Duet  Performances are allowed,
Theme should be comic only, audition based,

Please reach in time for auditions for all events. Late comers shall not be allowed to perform.

HIGHLIGHTS:

-Attractive prizes for all cultural winners
-For other winners in games. Attractive in- kind prizes
-Decisions of the Judges shall be final for all events.
-Refreshments shall be given by NAB Centre for the participants on the festival day

You can get any no. of visually impaired friends to enjoy the festival.
