agalkot, Dec 14: Dileep Mallikarjun Kolli, a man who lost his eyesight in childhood, has emerged as an inspiring figure for individuals with different abilities. Hailing from Kirasur village in Bagalkot, Dileep overcame his physical challenges to become a role model for others. Despite the efforts of his parents to restore his vision, Dileep remained blind.

Undaunted by his blindness, Dileep pursued education using Braille and currently serves as a first division clerk in the district treasury office, where he utilizes a computer equipped with a sound box that provides verbal information. Medical professionals have affirmed that Dileep cannot regain his vision.

Dileep's educational journey includes completing primary and secondary education at the Siddaruda School for Blind Children in Hubballi, PU in Bengaluru, and obtaining an MA in Bagalkot. Although his aspiration is to become a lecturer, he participated in the CET examination and secured a position as a first division clerk in the treasury department. Despite this achievement, Dileep remains steadfast in pursuing his dream of becoming a lecturer and continues to prepare for additional examinations.

In both his personal and professional life, Dileep independently manages his tasks. Colleagues at the treasury office, including treasury officer Shivasharanappa Kumbara, commend Dileep for his remarkable work, dedication, and disciplined approach. Dileep's story serves as a testament to his resilience and determination, making him a beacon of inspiration for those who may complain about their life's challenges, whether physical or otherwise.
