Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Company of Government of India, invites Online Applications from Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility requirements, for filling up of the following Workmen posts on contract basis for CSL:- 

Post:
FABRICATION ASSISTANTS ON CONTRACT  
1. Sheet Metal   Worker   
No. of posts: 21
Sl. No. A1
Qualification: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker or Fitter. 
Experience :Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in fabrication, i.e. cutting, fit up and welding process.

2. Welder
No. of posts: 34

Qualification: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Welder/ Welder (Gas & Electric). 
Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

3. Fitter

Qualification: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter. 

Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade

4. Mechanic Diesel

5. Mechanic Motor Vehicle

6. Plumber

7. Painter

Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

8. Electronic Mechanic

Qualification: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic. 
Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade

Total No. of posts: 300, out of which 12 for Persons with disabilities

All posts above are temporary in nature and for a maximum period of three years subject to project requirements and individual performance. 

The remuneration details for all the posts are as under:- 

1st year : ₹ 23300/- 
Compensation for extra hours of Work : ₹ 4900/- 

2nd year : ₹ 24000/- 
Compensation for extra hours of Work ₹ 5000/- 

3rd year : ₹ 24800/- 
Compensation for extra hours of Work ₹ 5100/- 

The posting shall be at CSL/any other CSL units/project sites as desired by CSL. However, depending upon project requirements, the candidates are liable to be transferred within different units of CSL. The appointment to the posts carries with it the obligation to serve in any department of CSL or on-board ships or in any of the units / work sites/ projects undertaken in any part of India or abroad as the case may be. 

In the case of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, the degree of disability should be a minimum of 40%. The applicant should submit a valid Certificate of disability to this effect in the prescribed format issued by Competent Authority as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017. 

No fee for PwD candidates.

Application once submitted shall be final.  

No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the selection process. 

Call letters shall not be sent to short-listed candidates by post. They shall be informed by e-mail/through CSL website to download call letter from www.cochinshipyard.in.
