Voice Vision in partnership with NAB Delhi & CIS Bengaluru is organising 2 workshops on 27th & 28th June for persons with visual impairment in Mumbai.

 

First workshop is training on "ESpeak Marathi / Hindi / Sindhi" usage with NVDA on 27th June. For sighted or blind trainers, teachers training blinds, individuals using Marathi to read or write.

 

Second workshop is on "Career Counselling", for students completed tenth standard and above, individuals aspiring to begin their employee career on 28th June.

 

General Details:

Time: 10 am to 5:30 pm.

Workshop details & requirements:

 

1. Workshop Name: "ESpeak Marathi / Hindi / Sindhi" usage training with NVDA.

A. Date 27th June

B. Venue Computer Lab 2 on 4th Floor. SIES College C. Time 10 am to 5:30 pm D. Carry your laptop with headphone. (Laptops with windows 7 OS are appreciated).

E. Compulsory, Carry your own headphones to use a desktop.

F. Teachers or trainers or special educators for visually impaired sighted or visually impaired may participate.

G. Individuals who are using Marathi language on computers to read & write may participate.

H. Individuals in government sector using Marathi / Hindi language can participate.

 

 

2. Workshop: "Career Counselling".

A. Date 28th June

B. Venue Auditorium on ground Floor. SIES College C. Time 10 am to 5:30 pm D. Students completed tenth standard or above may participate.

E. Students pursuing graduation or post-graduation can join.

F. Individuals seeking employment or self-employment can participate

G. Teachers or trainers or special educators for visually impaired can participate.

H. Organisation heads working for visually impaired can participate.
