The Zy-Fuse Heater is an innovative piece of technology, which is used in conjunction with Zy-Tex2 Swell paper to produce tactile diagrams. The printed diagram is passed through the Zy-Fuse which causes the black ink to swell and form the end product of a diagram which can be examined using the hands.
The Zy-Fuse Heater is a very easy to use machine for people who are blind or visually impaired. Pictures, maps, mathematical symbols and diagrams are produced from lines and dark areas drawn or printed on the zy-tex paper which are then raised when passed through the heater.
